Order Expeditor, Jr. Buyer

About the role

The order expeditor will work alongside the buyers on the Purchasing team to ensure all open orders are fulfilled properly and in a timely manner by our vendor partners and provide order statuses back to the sales teams. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the procurement process and play an important role in the companies continued success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for going through the daily open order report and work with our vendor partners on order statuses.
  • Expectations would include time management, multi-tasking, possessing the ability to juggle many requests and prioritizing accordingly.
• Satisfy general sales support requests including tracking shipments, providing order statuses back to sales, and submitting product return requests to vendors.
• Assist the other members of the Purchasing team with troubleshooting order issues with Sales and Accounting groups.

• Clear and effective oral and written communication skills.
