About the role
The order expeditor will work alongside the buyers on the Purchasing team to ensure all open orders are fulfilled properly and in a timely manner by our vendor partners and provide order statuses back to the sales teams. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the procurement process and play an important role in the companies continued success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for going through the daily open order report and work with our vendor partners on order statuses.
- Expectations would include time management, multi-tasking, possessing the ability to juggle many requests and prioritizing accordingly.
- Satisfy general sales support requests including tracking shipments, providing order statuses back to sales, and submitting product return requests to vendors.
- Assist the other members of the Purchasing team with troubleshooting order issues with Sales and Accounting groups.

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and inside sales teams.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order tracking and documentation.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to show initiative.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills.
