About the role
This is a high‑impact, front‑line role for a true business developer. As Business Development Manager, you will actively shape our go‑to‑market strategy, drive vendor‑led growth initiatives, and position Climb as the go‑to VAD for Cybersecurity and AI solutions in the region. You turn strategy into action and conversations into revenue.
What you will own and drive:
Leading and executing go‑to‑market programs with a clear revenue focus, in close collaboration with vendors and Climb teams
Actively hunting and onboarding new partners and customers, with a strong focus on security solutions
Acting as the regional go‑to person for Cybersecurity, AI trainings, vendors, and solutions
Creating demand in the channel through enablement, training, and hands‑on partner engagement
Driving pipeline development, opportunity progression, and deal closure
Managing high‑value opportunities and special pricing with a strong commercial mindset
Delivering clear, structured reporting on pipeline, opportunities, and performance
Working directly with vendors on campaigns, events, exhibitions, and joint sales initiatives
Building strong relationships with decision makers at targeted resellers
Supporting marketing initiatives with a sales‑driven perspective
Being present in the field: sales floor walks, partner visits, and hands‑on engagement
Supporting pre‑sales activities where it accelerates deal closure
Internal collaboration & development
Working closely with Sales and Marketing to turn strategy into measurable results
Partnering with management on business intelligence and data‑driven decision making
Actively contributing to business development plans and growth initiatives
Driving new business
Proactively stimulating sales activities across the reseller ecosystem
Following up and converting vendor leads into tangible opportunities
Owning opportunities from first conversation to profitable close

This is a home‑office‑based role with regular visits to our Munich office as required.
Frequent travel is essential – this is a field‑driven role.
About you
You are a proven business developer with at least five years of experience in distribution or the IT channel. You enjoy opening doors, creating momentum, and closing deals. You take ownership of your pipeline and your results.

Compensation
Competitive base salary plus commission – OTE €70,000–€100,000
