Warehouse Associate

About the role

Climb Channel Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Warehouse Associate opening within its Maryland warehouse. This person will handle various tasks, including inventory management, domestic and international shipping, as well as product picking and packing. In this role, they will assist with all facets of warehouse operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Light-duty shipping, most packages ranging from 2 to 50 pounds
• Receiving small package and palletized inbound orders accurately into stock
• Moving materials and items from receiving to storage or shipping areas
• Always maintaining organization within warehouse, ensuring it is accessible and safe
• Maintaining accurate inventory, including weekly cycle counts
• Participating in year-end inventory count process
• Creation of shipping quotes through our HelpDesk portal
• Assist with any logistics issue including reroutes, customs clearance, lost packages, etc.
• Reviewing and approving/disputing freight bills from Climb’s carriers

About you

• Prior warehouse experience that includes picking, packing and shipping
• Possess basic computer skills, MS Office Suite including Outlook
• Experience using RF scan guns
• Knowledgeable on creating customs documents and providing shipping quotes
• Experience with FedEx café system and fedex.com to create and manage shipments
• Experience in creating CI, SLI and other international shipping documents as required
• Experience in filing freight claims, re-routes and lost package claims
• Prior ERP system experience a plus
• Detail oriented, accurate multi-tasker, able to follow instructions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills required

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift packages of up to 50 pounds
• Must be dependable and able to work 40 hours per week (9AM-6PM), possibility of working some overtime at end-of-month
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Able to operate forklift
