About the role
Support making the process of transitioning a rapidly growing number of customers and transactions to the Cloud Marketplace platform successful. Communicate with Climb sales teams and reseller partners via a cloud marketplace support email account to answer their questions and resolve or escalate issues quickly and effectively. Perform all duties at a level that satisfies and exceeds our partners’ expectations in all direct and indirect customer contact.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Climb sales teams as well as reseller partners via email, Teams, and phone communication about cloud marketplace processes and information including customer contract status, details, contact info. and license information
- Provide support to Climb/DSS supplier/vendor partners (Adobe currently) via communication and issue resolution related to Cloud Marketplace processes and information
- As a high priority, respond to all customer or partner phone and/or email requests for transactional or information processing issues
- Support Adobe’s migration process of customers to the VIP Marketplace program from the legacy VIP program
- Acquire and develop deep knowledge of Climb’s cloud marketplace platform (Infiterra currently) including operational functionality, account contact information, and license status
- Support the process for maintaining customer and license information on the marketplace such as auto enrollment status and contact information
- Support the process for providing visibility to Cloud marketplace information by managing Excel files and system uploads/syncing for the ERP system as well as web applications
- Collaborate with the sales, purchasing, IT, and accounting departments to support marketplace transactions are processed and info. is captured efficiently and accurately
- Escalate information from partners and provide feedback to manager about technical or process issues and errors that need to be remedied
- Document customer issues that need technical support from Climb IT, marketplace platform provider, or vendors via helpdesk tickets and resolution follow up
- Attend specific training in person or online as needed or required
- Assist in training Climb staff or reseller partners on cloud marketplace processes
- Other duties as necessary

Education / Experience:
- 2+ years’ experience in either a purchasing or sales support function, preferably in the education market
- Or 5+ years Customer Service experience
- Experience working with Technology companies as suppliers or clients
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

- Must be an excellent verbal and written communicator while projecting a professional profile
- Independent, motivated, customer-focused
- Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, superior ability to present to executives, and influence others
