About the role
The Renewals Specialist is responsible for proactively quoting and managing the overall renewal lifecycle specific to designated software vendor(s) renewal pipeline. Assigned to vendor partners based on auto-renew policy, overage policy or company opportunity, the Renewal Specialist is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and customer retention/vendor renewal rate objectives.
The Renewals Specialist may represent a range of vendors or may focus on one specific vendor.

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Establishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned vendor partner accounts.
- Achieving and exceeding sales quota in set territory (designated vendors) by maintaining all possible renewal opportunities.
- Effective and accurate:
- Product search
- Quoting
- Order processing
- Cultivating strong relationships and acting as a primary point of contact for assigned vendor partners to ensure partner satisfaction specific to renewals.
- Up-sell and cross-sell where applicable.
- Develop relationships with other reseller renewal teams to drive consistency, relationship, and retention rates.
- Ability to manage reseller projects and vendor roll-outs.
This role will include a large amount of training and learning so a passion for technology and self-development is essential.
About you

You will have a minimum of 1-2 years professional experience, a bachelor’s degree (preferred) and authorized to work in the US. You will be proficient at communicating both written and verbal, with excellent organizational skills. You will have a strong desire to learn new skills, comfortable using the computer including Microsoft Office, and have excellent attention to detail.

- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks appropriately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service, problem solving, and selling techniques.
- Familiarity with Pipeline and Forecasting methodology.
- Assisting customers with maximizing up-sell opportunities, such as multi-year, extended maintenance, cross-sell, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
