Sales Account Manager
Grey Matter, a software reseller and cloud service provider, is seeking a highly motivated candidate to fill a sales position within our US sales team. In this role, the focus is on generating business and ensuring a great customer experience by responding to requests for quotes, dealing with inquiries, and making outbound calls to generate new business.
This role will work closely with our customers, who are based throughout the US, via phone and email and will be supported by the Grey Matter team and its wide-reaching parent company. This is a fluid, dynamic role within a passionate team with great development opportunities and progression.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
· Proactive Sales activities including calling out on existing accounts to profile against the Grey Matter offering and calling out on leads/prospects to generate net new opportunities.
· Utilizing internal systems to send quotes and process purchase orders
· Calling and e-mailing existing and new customers to open and close sales
· Building knowledge of product lines to meet customer requirements
· Working with other departments to ensure efficient processing
· Perform customer service tasks
· Maintaining customer data in systems
· Dealing with inquiries promptly
· Answering phone calls and e-mails from our customers

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
· Prior sales experience is desirable
· Bachelor's Degree preferred
· Authorized to work in the US
